the works featured are small mixed media illustrations created with charcoal and chalk, earth pigments, and colored pencils mostly on paper or paper-ish things and sometimes also bodies. they are carefully animated through a variety of techniques though get smudged, torn and faded in the process.
the intent is to be abstract and whimsical, unassuming and ephemeral though still reflect a process that is intensive and wrought by the hands of the artist. a process that utilizes technology without altering or diminishing its original form.
